TRANSPORTATION AND ROUTE

The route we are taking is I-44. E, I-70 E, I-71 N, I-271 N and I-90 E to Church St. in Buffalo, New York to Adam's Mark Hotel. We are taking exit 7 from I-190 N. We are going to drive 14 hours. 

HISTORICAL/CULTURAL SIGNIFIGANCE

Prior to the French, who arrived at Buffalo Creek in the 1750s, the Neutral Nation and then the Ongiara Iroquois Indians were the first on the scene. The British took control of the region and built the town on a radial street system.

FRESHWATER PROBLEMS

The freshwater in Lake Erie by Buffalo, New York is heavy with algae and fish are getting killed by it. It spreads constantly through out the lake.

GAS AND ENDING COSTS

We will have to make five stops, which means ten in all. We will be spending roughly $342 on gas during our trip. We will spend $213 on lodging, $90 for rental fees (kayak rental for a day), $22 for the entry fees (The Buffalo Museum of Science), $256 on meals, and $200 for souvenirs ($100 each). That is a total of $1,123. 

HOTEL AND FOOD

Our first stop will be in St. Louis, and we are stopping at the Culver's on Big Bend Road. Our second stop is in Casey, Illinois. We are eating at Richard's Farm Restaurant. Our last stop before we get to Buffalo will be Chick-fil-a on Richmond Road, Ohio. We are going to the Adam's Mark Hotel in Buffalo, New York for one night. After that, we are going to Westfield, New York to stay at Lake Erie Koa for three nights.
